Dr. Christian Bendel is a Patent Attorney with the firm Peterreins Schley. He is experienced in patent drafting and prosecution work, patent opposition procedures and litigation work.

Dr. Bendel studied Physics at WWU Westfälische Wilhelms Universität, Münster. He focused on Surface Analysis with Mass Spectrometry. As an Employee of ION-TOF GmbH he worked on several research and development projects, as well as projects in the construction and maintenance of TOF-SIMS mass spectrometers. The work included stays in the US and South Korea with leading semiconductor manufacturers (Intel, Motorola, Samsung Electronics).

In the year 2000, Dr. Bendel started working in the field of intellectual property. He has been admitted as German (2003) and European Patent Attorney (2004). During his career as a patent attorney, Dr. Bendel has run his own law firm and has also collaborated as a free-lance attorney with other law firms.
