As an experienced attorney-at-law in the field of intellectual property, Maximilian advises and represents clients in all matters of patent law, in particular in the context of infringement proceedings before national courts and the Unified Patent Court.


He focuses particularly on the areas of life sciences, telecommunications, electronics, mechanics and automotive. Maximilian has in-depth expertise in the enforcement of standard essential patents (SEPs), including FRAND objections, and regularly takes a supportive role in opposition and nullity proceedings before the European Patent Office and the Federal Patent Court. In addition, he advises clients on out-of-court dispute resolution.


Before joining Peterreins Schley, Maximilian worked for renowned international law firms in Munich. He studied law at the universities of Regensburg and Munich.
