Stefan Kohl is a Patent Engineer at the firm Peterreins Schley. He is primarily involved in patent drafting and prosecution work, but he is also experienced in due diligence and freedom to operate work.
Stefan Kohl studied Mechanical Engineering at RWTH University Aachen and RMIT University Melbourne, focusing on Production Technologies and Optical Technologies. In his Master’s thesis, he addressed the process development of Selective Laser Melting (SLM), carried out experimentally at RMIT Melbourne.
Alongside his studies, Stefan Kohl worked at the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering (WZL) as well as the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology (ILT) in the fields of Production Management and Additive Manufacturing. During his internship at Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, he gained insights in the production planning department of body shop projects.
